Kenny Vanreppelen is an industrial business leader, entrepreneur, and technology innovator with extensive experience in industrial operations, business transformation, and scaling sustainable technologies. As Founder & CEO of Act&Sorb, a technology venture originating from his PhD research, he led the development and industrialisation of innovative processes to convert waste streams into high-value activated carbon. He subsequently held senior leadership positions at Sibelco, including Vice President Operations, and currently serves as Business Unit Director, Water Systems Europe & Africa at NSF. His experience spans the intersection of entrepreneurship, industrial innovation, strategic investment decisions, and operational execution, bringing a first-hand perspective on the challenges of translating promising technologies into commercially viable industrial businesses.
