Heat Power B.V. developed the Rankine Compression Gas turbine (RCG): a flexible combined heat and power (CHP) installation for electrical peak shaving and grid stabilising. The RCG runs on any heat source, e.g. waste heat, biomass or iron powder and can follow the electricity demand within seconds, also in island mode.
