Catalyco is a Latvian deep-tech company developing circular production of high-value metal oxides from industrial waste and side streams.
Our technology recovers zinc oxide, copper oxide, and nickel oxide from materials such as spent catalysts, adsorbents, filter dusts, and metallurgical residues, converting them into advanced raw materials for catalysts, adsorbents, rubber, ceramics, and other industrial applications.
By replacing imported virgin materials with locally recovered alternatives, Catalyco helps European industry strengthen supply-chain resilience, reduce dependency on critical raw material imports, lower CO₂ footprint, and create new value from waste streams that are currently underutilized or treated as disposal liabilities.
Catalyco is an InnoEnergy portfolio company and is working with industrial and research partners to validate its technology at pilot scale. The company is currently scaling from laboratory validation toward industrial demonstration, with a focus on chemical industry applications such as catalyst and adsorbent production.
