Descarbonize is a carbon management platform and consulting company founded in 2022, headquartered in Florianópolis, Brazil, with operations across Brazil and Europe. Our purpose is to help organizations measure, manage, reduce, and neutralize their greenhouse gas emissions, combining technology, scientific rigor, and a practical approach to implementation.
Our software platform automates the full GHG management cycle: data collection, emissions calculation across Scopes 1, 2, and 3, target setting, action planning, and reporting aligned with the GHG Protocol. The platform is available as a white-label solution, meaning companies can deploy it under their own brand and invite their suppliers directly to enter activity data, giving full visibility into their Scope 3 supplier-related emissions. Each supplier's contribution is attributed proportionally, allowing the company to identify its biggest emission sources at every tier. Our consulting team complements the platform by developing Climate Transition Plans that connect emissions data, reduction targets, and concrete actions into a coherent program.
For events, we calculate carbon footprints using the GET methodology, deliver detailed emissions reports with mitigation recommendations, and certify events as Carbon Friendly, Carbon Neutral, or Carbon Negative through UN-certified renewable energy credits.
