NitroCapt has created a novel way to make green nitrogen-based fertilizer with almost none of the emissions of the current processes. Nitrogen fertilizers are responsible for 50% of the world’s food, but the current production methods are responsible for more than 2.5% of carbon emissions every year (as much as the flight industry). Our solution uses plasma under pressure to make the highest quality fertilizers on the market. And we do this on-site, at-scale, cost competitive with dirty grey ammonia, and almost 100% green. We use just air, water renewable electricity and a calcium source in a capex light model for distributed resilience.
