Stockholm Water Technology (SWT) is a Swedish company based in Stockholm that manufactures, installs and manages their water treatment solutions built using their patented CAP3D technology. CAP3D stands for Capacitive Deionization, Disinfection and Destruction, is powered by their patented electrocapacitive technology. CAP3D is chemical free, uses low energy and can produce user programmed water quality, which is novel and innovative in the wastewater treatment sector. SWT products have been used to convert treated municipal and industrial wastewater into usable water and simultaneously extract resources like nutrients and metals form the wastewater stream.
