Paul Bogers joined GE Vernova as Strategy Director responsible for Innovation and Growth shortly after the 2024 ‘spin’ that created a remarkable ‘130-year old start-up’ on a mission to Electrify to Thrive and Decarbonize. Reporting to the CTO, Paul’s responsibilities include Ventures, Licensing
and Technology Strategy. Prior to joining GE, Paul spent two decades at Shell in a range of commercial and technical roles including global VP Hydrogen, VP Fuels Technology and Head of Emerging Technologies and has been based in UK, US, Germany and his native Netherlands.
His original calling is as an engineer designing jet engines for Rolls-Royce having obtained a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the Technical University of Delft and a post-graduate degree in Fluid Dynamics at the Von Karman Institute.
