Bio
Benoit Lemaignan is Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Verkor, the European battery manufacturer he co-founded in 2020. As the company's former CEO, he led Verkor's growth from startup to one of Europe's flagship battery projects, including the development of its low-carbon battery gigafactory in Dunkirk and the Verkor Innovation Centre.
An aerospace engineer by training and serial entrepreneur, Benoit previously founded Waga Energy and Aniah, served as Managing Director of OSER ENR, and advised companies on climate and energy strategy at Carbone 4. Drawing on experience spanning aerospace, clean technology and industrial scale-up, he continues to support Verkor's long-term strategic development and Europe's industrial and energy transition ambitions.
